August 22: Agawa Canyon lakes and cliffs.

We fulfilled a long-standing wish and boarded the Algoma Central Railroad for the trip to Agawa Canyon.

The train did not go fast, since it was a series of curves and ledges perched above pristine lakes and impressive cliffs.  The stop at Agawa Canyon Park (reachable only by rail) was a cornucopia of cliffs and waterfalls.

Impressive in another way was the complete lack of stops.  Single track, but we had it to ourselves.

A wonderful day and a memorable experience.

And apart from anything else, the breakfast was excellent!
