August 20: More trains in the Sault

Up to now we have been mainly going north.  Today we finally turned west, and had an uneventful journey to Sault Ste. Marie.

The camp-ground here is a bit close to the Trans-Canada Highway, and to make us feel we were still in Canada, it is close to the train tracks too.   But we cannot hear the traffic and trains much because of the rain battering on the roof and the loud thunder.

The wi-fi worked for all of 20 minutes, but is now absent.  Will try tomorrow, which is a “housekeeping day”.  Unless the rain floods the highway completely, we might even manage some sightseeing.

More later.

John.
